Join our whimsical dance dream and gain flexibility and strength with Cybele and friends in the upcoming beginner or intermediate Cabaret Choreography session.

Tune into your body & senses through conditioning, active mobility drills and exercises, guided creative movement, and choreography. With an emphasis on nurturing confidence and strength, this 8 week series is designed to empower your inner performer with optional opportunities to perform on stage and in front of the camera.

Cybele Leon is a cross-disciplined movement artist and sensual dancer combining her circus training and burlesque dance experience into her own blend of sensual dance. After launching her burlesque career at Burlesque at the Pink Door, the longest running burlesque show in the Pacific NorthWest, Cybele cofounded a new cabaret as one third of the Valtesse Productions creative team. She has spent the last eight years immersed in the cabaret production world, wearing many behind the scenes hats, coproducing dozens of creative productions and performing in over a hundred shows.

Dress Code: wear form fitting clothing that allows for full mobility such as tights and a leotard, and bare feet. You are encouraged to dress in a way that makes you feel sensual and confident. Sparkles, lingerie, and costumes are encouraged! Wear knee pads and tights or have a layer to put on your legs as floor work is a fundamental part of this dance style. Wear stretchy clothes.
